The Twelve Years of Menopause

     I am having a really rough week with the hot flashes and night sweats.  My doctor won't give me estrogen, sadistic bastard!
     I woke up before 5 am, wide awake, and by noon, I will be dragging my bum around like a trailer detached from its 5th wheel.
     I have been going through hot flashes, mood wings, bouts of crying, you name it, I have experienced it since I turned 40.  That's 12 years!  I have had enough!

In the first year of menopause,  mother nature gave to me a head full of emotions. 

In the second year of menopause, mother nature gave to me dry, itchy skin,
and a head full of emotions. 

In the third year of menopause, mother nature gave to me joint pain,
dry itch skin,
and a head full of emotions. 

In the fourth year of menopause, mother nature gave to me hot flashes, 
joint pain, 
dry itch skin,
and a head full of emotions. 

In the fifth year of menopause, mother nature gave to me 5 extra pounds!

In the sixth year of menopause, mother nature gave to me hair that is thinning,
5 extra pounds!

In the seventh year of menopause, mother nature gave to me irregular periods,
hair that is thinning, 
5 extra pounds!

In the eighth year of menopause, mother nature gave to me lack of libido,
irregular periods, 
hair that is thinning, 
5 extra pounds!

lack of libido,
